Behind the scenes at UFindUs

Part of our drive to wards excellence has been the relocation of the fulfillment department for UFindUs. Fulfillment basically covers our service reception staff who answer customer calls and also deal with the post room function. I have already described the changes we have made to how we deal with calls coming in previous postings, but I haven’t mentioned the post room yet.

All post for UFindUs is now being processed at our Lancaster centre. Everything from our welcome packs, monthly statements to general correspondence are now sent out from here on a daily basis. The volume of correspondence sent is staggering and requires a full time team of three people to ensure everything runs smoothly. We are obviously reliant on all the technology they have, such as franking machines, batch printers and the machine that folds and stuffs the many thousands of letters each day, are all working. If there is a problem with any of these things it can have severe knock on effects in ensuring everything is sent out on time.

After a month of having our new post room in operation the transition has gone smoothly and the staff at UFindUs have risen to the challenge, their hard work in making it happen is a testament to the level of commitment to customer service that UFindUs has.
